World Card Making Day

Hello!!! &Welcome to World Card Making Day!  Today I have the amazing privilege to work along side the inspiring Elle's Studio DT and community members.  When I got an email from Elle I'm pretty sure I did a happy dance around the room!

Trust me, you do not want to miss out on this!  I had such a hard time just picking one sentiment to use for today!  They are perfect for any occasion! Here is the the card I came up with!  It's simple yet fun!

Elle's Studio Sketch

This is my take on Elle's Studio Thursday Sketch!  Jen and Sophie both did a great job!

I was inspired by several elements: the simple layers, large title and jornal placement.
I love how Sophie used the twine to cover the left side of her page.  That didn't work so well with the look I was going for so I got out some garland (I think that's what it's called) from Studio Calico and layered it on my journaling tag and at the bottom of my page. Also I love how Jen did her journaling so I used that for my page as well!

Love this hobby!

Here are a few more layouts I have made.  Every time I start to make a page I fall in love with the hobby all over again.  it's such a fun and relaxing process!

Any free time I have had recently I have filled with scrapbooking.  With school just around the corner I wont have as much time so I want to get as much in as I can!
