a little reminder

The weather has been gorgeous recently!  My Nikon was dead so I took my iphone outside and took a couple pictures behind our house.  I want to continue to the happy &positive mindset I have been attempting to have so I created this picture for my lock screen.

Happiness is a choice

Life this past year has been a crazy emotional mess, I will blame it on being a college freshman.  I've had great days and horrible days, but that's okay because that is how life is.  More recently I have decided that it is time to get a grip on myself and my life so I have been focusing more on Gods word and have been trying to focus on the good and positive things in life.  Because when I take a step back I realize I am greatly blessed and that is reason enough to be happy. 

My dad has always told me "happiness is a choice," so that has been my goal recently, to choose happiness.  That choice has really paid off these past few weeks.  I won's say every day has been a walk in the park but, things have been better and I have been feeling better than I have in a long while.

So with that said I created a digital page to document this new found happiness.  I am dying to create an actual page with paper and glue but a busy life has not allowed me the time needed. So this is what I came up with for now.

Hey. Hi. Hello.

Hello! I'm new to the blogging world so stick with me while I get the hang of things!

My name is Jessica DeAngelis, most call me Jess.  I am a 19, soon to be 20 year old trying to creatively  make my way through life.  I am currently in college studying graphic design with a minor in advertising.  Photography is my passion and has been since my freshman year of highschool.  It is what led me to scrapbooking and I couldn't be more grateful that it did.  I used to be a strictly paper and glue kind of scraper but I just recently tried my hand at digital scrapbooking and immediately fell in love.  What I love most about scrapbooking, and any art form really, is that it is an outlet for my chaotic thoughts.  I'll include blogging in that, haha, so this is a place where I'll share my inspiration, my photography, my scrapbooking, my life, and my heart.  So, stay tuned!
